Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry & Cebu Business Club TO CONDUCT ECONOMIC & FENG SHUI FORUM ON FEB. 8,2011


After successfully hosting the Congressional Forum on Fiscal Reform and Good Governance last January 27, the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry partners anew with the Cebu Business Club for the Views and Prospects 2011 on February 8, 2011 from 1pm to 5pm at the newly opened Hotel Elizabeth in Archbishop Reyes Ave., Cebu City.
MCCI and CBC bring respected and renowned personalities to share their viewpoints of the year that had been and the year moving forward in two different perspectives – in economics and in feng shui.
Professor Perry Fajardo, Economics Professor at the University of San Carlos and Executive Director of the Cebu Business Club is set to discuss on the issues of 2010 that would shape the direction of doing business in 2011.  Professor Fajardo’s talk will focus on why and how the Philippines, Central Visayas and Cebu were affected and rebounded in 2010 from the last global recession; what lies ahead in 2011 and beyond in light of the changing fortunes of the developed and the developing economies and the need for a more stable, sustained and inclusive growth; how to make Cebu, the region and the rest of the country more responsive to the new opportunities that the new global realignment brings and the risks that are perceived to arise at the same time; and what new strategies business must adopt to become more competitive in an uncertain and volatile environment with fast changing rules of the game and rapid development in technology.
On the other hand, the President and CEO of World of Feng Shui (WOFS) Philippines Ms. Maritess Allen, the feng shui consultant of choice of top executives and prominent personalities in media, entertainment, and public office in the Philippines and abroad will bring her expertise in the use of feng shui in business to the participants who will be attending the said forum. Ms. Allen will give a talk on the general outlook for the year of the golden rabbit in line with business/wealth, relationship, health, career, education, stock markets, remedies, cures and enhancers for the year.
