What's N' Cebu

Cebu is the Queen City of the South and the country's oldest city dating back to Magellan's arrival in 1521. Growth was slow until the mid-19th century, when increasing trade caused rapid development. Today Metropolitan Cebu extends over 350 square kilometers, with five cities and municipalities and a population of more than 1 million.

Cebu (Sugbo) is the name given to the city, the metropolis, the island, the province. Cebu Province is made up of 48 municipalities and 5 cities - Cebu, Danao, Lapu-lapu, Mandaue and Toledo - with Cebu City as its capital. Cebu Island is a sliver of an island centrally located in the Visayas region of the Philippine archipelago, 365 miles south of Manila. Metropolitan Cebu is a complex of 3 cities and 6 municipalities with a population of over 1 million. Cebu City is the oldest Philippine city, and is also called the "Queen City of the South". As the first Spanish settlement, it was called Ciudad del Santissimo Nombre de Jesus.

The entire province has a total land area of 508,844 hectares, and its temperature averages 27 ° C all year round. The languages/dialects spoken are Cebuano Tagalog and English. Cebu is also the diving center of the Philippines with magnificent coral formations, spectacular marine life and drop-offs plunging to blue nothingness. Fine weather all year round makes Cebu a favorite for water sports. Swim, snorkel & dive; windsurf, sail or ski; ride the waves, stroll along the beach, get a glorious tan. Revel in Cebu's sun, sand, sea & sky!

Language: The locals speak Cebuano - a dialect common in Visayas and Mindanao region. Pilipino (also known as Tagalog) is the national language, however English is widely used.

Carcar town, just south of Cebu City, has many preserved Castillian houses, gardens, and churches.

The Chapel of the Last Supper in Mandaue City, just off north of Cebu City, features hand-carved life-size statues of Christ and his apostles dating back to Spanish times.

The Magellan Monument in Mactan Island was raised in 1886 to mark the spot where Magellan died, who was killed in the fierce battle of  Mactan. Datu Lapu-lapu, the chieftain in Mactan, who refused to submit to the Spanish Conquistadoris. There is also a Monument of  Datu Lapu-lapu honoring him as the first Filipino patriot to repel the first European aggression. Maribago is the center of the region's guitar making industry. As well as many histrorical sites there are popular ,hotels and beach clubs and resorts.

Cebu also boast of Filipino Culture. Cebu is the Home to the Famous " True Philippine Experience". A Showcase of Filipino Foods and Culture. Native Filipino Foods in Large Native Style Building, with all Filipino Decor, served in Native Basket with Bannana Leaf. Most amazing Filipino Cultural Dances from all Three Regions of The Philippines. ( Performed by Award Winning Filipino Dance Group). Plus Island Fire Dancers, Fire Breathers, Fire Eaters. When visiting Cebu you will want to experience The Most Amazing Culture of The Philippines.

Fast Lose your Weight ....Healthy Weight Loss

Want to slim down fast for that beach vacation or high school reunion? While there are many things you can do to shed pounds, losing weight too quickly, like any sudden change to your body, can be dangerous. While fad diets, diet pills, and fasting may indeed induce rapid weight loss, these methods can cause you to lose muscle and may also injure your heart and other organs fairly quickly. The best solution? Don't go for an overnight miracle. Instead, follow these steps to lose fat rapidly, healthily, and sustainably.

1.Determine your daily calorie intake . Losing weight is simply a matter of expending more calories than you take in, through exercise and your daily activities. To win the battle, it helps to know how many calories you are consuming in a day.

◦Write down all the things you eat on a typical day. Carry a small notebook with you and write down every snack, every drink, and the contents of every meal. There are also great websites that you can use to keep track of calories, get recipes, and help achieve your goal. Don't forget to include the pats of butter or the spoonful of sugar in your coffee. It's best to do this for at least a couple weekdays and a weekend; it's even better if you can go a full week. There are also calorie tracking websites that can help you to do this, for example the US government website, My Pyramid Tracker .

◦Do an itemized calorie count. When possible, write down the number of calories in each thing you eat as you eat it. Keep in mind that the recommended serving size is often considerably smaller than the serving you actually eat. Look up the calorie count on the internet for foods that don't have calories listed on the container or for fast food meals. You don't have to be 100% accurate, but you do want a good estimate of the number of calories you're taking in. There is an idea that multiplying your own weight by ten will produce a rough estimate of the number of calories you need to eat per day to maintain your weight. This is NOT true, you may wind up grossly under (or perhaps over) estimating the number of calories you should be eating. Use a scientific or health website to determine the number of calories you should eat a day or consult your doctor. Everyone has different metabolisms and there is no blanket rule that covers everyone's recommended calorie intake. Reducing 500 calories per day from the calories you eat to maintain your weight can help you lose a pound of fat per week.[2]

2.Go over the list and decide which foods to cut out or reduce. Cutting calories is usually a lot easier than you might think. For example, that daily tall latte in the morning may pack 500 calories. Since a pound of flab (lost or gained) is roughly equivalent to 3,500 calories, replacing that rich beverage with black coffee can help you lose a pound a week. Other easy cuts include salad dressing (salad dressing is the number one source of fat in the average American woman's diet) soda pop, candy, and butter. Look at the nutritional information for the foods you eat, pay special attention to your intake of saturated fats and empty calories (high-sugar foods). You don't need to cut these things out entirely, but if you reduce your intake of high-fat, high-calorie foods you'll lose weight faster.

3.Seek out alternatives to the unhealthy foods you've identified. You can simply reduce the amount of soda you drink or mayonnaise you put on your sandwiches, or you can substitute healthier choices. Drink water instead of soda, for example, or use mustard instead of mayo. Low-fat and low-calorie options are also available for most foods, and many of these are natural, (although some are made with strange chemicals), and tasty. Start trying to eat healthy in most meals:

◦Choose lean meats. Chicken and fish are both very low in fat (and certain fish like salmon, sardines, and fresh tuna are an excellent source of antioxidants, which are also beneficial to your health), so aim to replace some or all of the beef or pork in your diet with these foods.

◦Replace high-calorie side dishes with healthier alternatives. Many people get a ton of calories from side dishes such as macaroni and cheese, French fries, or potato salad. You can eat healthier and lose weight by replacing these with fresh vegetables and salads. Pre-made salads are practically effortless, and when accompanied by a reduced-calorie dressing or no dressing at all, they're weight-loss gold.

◦Start your days off right. A fattening breakfast of bacon and eggs or a pastry can be replaced with yogurt, oatmeal, high-fiber, low-sugar cereals; or fresh fruit for fruit smoothies. However, for those on a low carb diet bacon and eggs are a great combo for breakfast, since neither have carbs. But don't fall into the trap of skipping breakfast. Eating a healthy breakfast increases your rest metabolic rate earlier in the day, and reduces snacking before lunch.

4.Plan your meals. Look for healthy, delicious meals online or in your cookbooks, and create a menu for the week. Make sure that your meal plan reduces your total calorie intake: you're not going to lose weight if you consume the same amount of calories by eating different foods. Make a list of what you'll need for these meals, and -- except for a few snacks, of course -- don't stray from your list when you get to the market. Planning your meals helps ensure you get a balanced diet and reduces the temptation to stop off for fast food or order a pizza. Remember, it's easier to stick to your shopping list if you shop when you aren't hungry.

5.Watch your portion sizes. Opening a bag of rice cakes and eating all of them in one sitting isn't going to help you lose weight. When eating chips, nuts, or dried fruit put a portion in a small bowl and then put the bag away. That way you won't mindlessly eat a larger portion than you had intended. Even if you only make minimal changes to your diet choices, reducing portion size will inevitably reduce caloric intake. A great way to watch portion sizes while snacking is to buy one serving 100 calorie packages - and they come in many favorite snack food items!

6.Graze on healthy snacks. Just because you're getting healthy doesn't mean you can't snack. In fact, eating small meals and snacks throughout the day, or grazing, has been shown to aid weight loss, (compared to eating three large meals a day), by keeping metabolism steadier. Pick snacks that are low in calories and fat and high in fiber (dried apricots, nuts, rice cakes, fruits, baby carrots, cherry tomatoes, and so on). Vegetables are generally very low in calories, very high in fiber, and full of flavor and nutrition. Avoid starchy vegetables like potatoes, and try to eat vegetables plain, without fatty dressings or dips. Fruit also makes a good snack. Fruit contains more soluble fiber than vegetables, which slows your body's absorption of carbohydrates, thus releasing energy more slowly, (preventing sugar highs), and keeping you feeling full longer. Fruit juices are not a replacement for the real thing. You need that fiber, and juices often have more calories than the equivalent serving of fruit -- as many calories as soda! Be careful with dried fruits, because without the water, you tend to eat more, and fruits, when dried, are calorie-rich per ounce. With any dry or dried food, be sure to drink plenty of water.

7.Get more fiber. There are many myths about fiber, but there is science to back up its helpful role in the diet. Fiber keeps the right amount of water in your intestines, making your digestive system work more efficiently and helping to keep you regular. Thus, just eating enough fiber may help you feel slimmer in just a day or so. There is also evidence that fiber in the diet can help prevent stroke and heart disease, ease the effects of diabetes, and may even directly help in weight loss.

8.Drink plenty of water. Adequate water is essential for health, and a great many people simply don't get enough. What's more, if you're chronically dehydrated, your body will retain water in unflattering places, so if you make sure to get plenty of fluids you can start visibly trimming down in as little as a day. Remember, the more you exercise, the more water you'll need. See the related wikiHow for more details on how much water you should be getting.

9.Exercise. Remember, you can lose weight either by decreasing your calorie intake or increasing the number of calories you burn. Any health strategy should include both, but if you want to lose weight fast, exercise is essential.

10.Perform high-level aerobic activities. Moderate aerobic workouts incorporating jogging, brisk walking, cycling, aerobic machines, or classes not only burn calories -- they also keep your heart healthy. Swimming is also great, especially if you are quite overweight or have joint problems, because you can get the same benefits of running -- typically burning even more calories -- with much less stress on your joints. Try to get at least 30-40 minutes of aerobic exercise at least three or four days per week.

11.Pump some iron. Resistance training, (weight training), can help both sexes stay lean by building muscle and raising metabolism. The fact is, hours and hours of aerobic exercise won't help most people lose weight fast because your metabolism drops back to normal fairly quickly after stopping the exercise. If you gain muscle, however, your body's resting metabolism, (the amount of calories you burn when you're just sitting still), increases, because muscle requires a lot of calories to maintain. Studies have shown consistent weight training to raise the body's metabolism by 15%. This means an average woman might burn 200-300 more calories at rest every day! Resistance training is the gift that keeps on giving! Although, keep in mind that muscle mass weighs more than fat (don't be surprised if you gain weight but look slimmer).

12.Rest properly. This means not only taking at least 24-48 hours between strength training the same muscles, (and taking 1-2 days off from exercising each week); it also means getting enough sleep at night, since sleep deficiency impairs your ability to lose fat.

13.Be realistic. Don't expect a miracle. Healthy weight loss can be achieved fairly quickly, but you'll need to be patient. In addition, be sure to set realistic goals. Make sure that the weight you're trying to reach is a healthy weight for you, and keeping in mind that gaining pounds of muscle will help you lose fat, be trimmer, and look better even though you don't actually lose any weight. Your goal should be a healthy body, not a number of pounds! Everyone looks good at a different weight. A short person may look really good at about 112 pounds, but a person of a taller height would just look unhealthy. Keep yourself at a weight that makes you look good, not at a number that sounds good.

14.Make adjustments. A successful weight loss strategy based on reducing calorie intake and increasing activity can be adjusted to maintain your desired weight once you reach it. Unlike typical diets, this method is sustainable -- it is a lifestyle change, not a binge-and-purge exercise. Slowly adjust your diet and exercise to include more weight training and calories, as much as is comfortable for you. If you do gain any weight back, you want that weight to be lean, toned muscle, not fat. In addition, weight training, no matter what your age, prevents muscle atrophy and can help stave off osteoporosis.

◦Instead of thinking of it as losing a certain amount of pounds, think of it as being a certain weight. So if you are 145 pounds, and you would like to lose 10 pounds, think of it as being 135 pounds. This helps you think about it as a long-term goal and not just losing the weight to gain it back again.

15.Be confident. You need to believe in yourself! If you want to diet, and you know that it will make you feel better, then you need confidence. Otherwise, the temptation to cheat on your diet will make it harder, and you will not feel better when you do lose weight. Avoid temptations like chocolate, ice cream, and cookies. They may taste good, but there are other foods that taste delicious, too, without being unhealthy. You need to always encourage yourself to achieve the goals that you have set. Learn to evaluate your efforts fairly and objectively. If you fail to achieve your target for the week, find out why is it so. Is it because you have missed a jogging session? Or you have been eating junk food for one of the days? After evaluating, look ahead to next week and try your best to stick to your plan.[3]

16.Be consistent and disciplined, and have self motivation. To lose weight effectively, you need to stick to your weight loss plan religiously so as to see results. When you have the thought of giving up, visualize how good you will look when you manage to slim down successfully.

Here are real incidents from our call center subsidiary which does outbound telemarketing to US households. the comments in parenthesis were added in by a project manager whose job it is to audit some of the calls at random. he started circulating these anecdotes internally. pinoy humor in real life.

(CSR - Customer Service Representative)

1. CSR: Do you have any child so we could send out

these gifts to you?

CLIENT: I'm sorry but i don't have any child.

CSR: Oh i understand, what about any grandchild?

(wala ngang anak di ba,

your child's bday.

system? (By the way, a

space bag is a big bag, not sure if it's made of

plastic, which size

adjusts depending on the amount of air you vacuum

out)

CSR: (with limited product knowledge) Well sir, it's

some kind of a space

bag, it's like a storage system where you put your

things. (salamat sa

explanation)
b. CLIENT: What is this space bag?

CSR: (basta may masabi lang) ah sir, it's the thing

worn by astronauts.

world is for free. Now tell me the catch!

CSR : (medyo napikon at umisip ng pambawi) Ah sir,

have you ever listened

to the Beatles?

out the window....

CLIENT: I'm sorry but i really don't know it.

CSR: (a bright idea came about) ah! sir, have you

mobile phone no. so you

can get in touch with him.

CSR: Ok! (CSR noticed that the cell no. lacks the

first four digits, he

forgot that he was talking to US people, so he

asked) Is it Globe or Smart?

CLIENT: pardon?

Coach approved. Finally,

after a few minutes of persuading the client to

Tough Interview Questions NEED Great Answers

Mental fear of the unknown is often what produces the physical reaction of nervousness. In addition to preparing your mind and body physically, you also need to prepare yourself mentally. The best way to prepare mentally is to know what may be coming. Fear of the unknown can only exist when there is an unknown. Take the time to understand some of the "standards" when it comes to interviewing questions.

The following are some of the most difficult questions you will face in the course of your job interviews. Some questions may seem rather simple on the surface--such as "Tell me about yourself..."--but these questions can have a very wide variation of answers. Others are "classic" interview questions such as, "What is your greatest weakness?" Questions that most people inappropriately answer. In this case, the textbook answer for the "greatest weakness" question is to give a veiled positive-- "I work too much. I just work and work and work."--which ends up sending the wrong message. Either you are lying or, worse yet, if you are telling the truth, then you define working too much as a weakness and, therefore, you really don't want to work much at all. Think about it.

The following answers are provided to give you a new perspective on how to answer tough interview questions. They are not there for you to lift from the page and insert into your next interview. They are there for you to use as the basic structure for formulating your own answers. While the specifics of each reply may not apply to you, try to follow the basic structure of answering from the perspective of the interviewer. Answer the questions behaviorally--that is, giving specific behavioral examples that show clear evidence to back up what you are saying. Always provide information that drives home the point that you want to become be the very best _____ for the company and that you have specifically prepared yourself to become exactly that. They want to be sold. They are waiting to be sold. Don't disappoint them!

1. Tell me about yourself.
My background to date has been centered around preparing myself to become the very best _____ I can  become. Let me tell you specifically how I've prepared  myself...

2. Why should I hire you?
Because I sincerely believe that I'm the best person for  the job. I realize that there are many other college  students that have the ability to do this job. I also have  that ability. But I also bring an additional quality that  makes me the very best person for the job--my attitude for  excellence. Not just giving lip service to excellence, but  putting every part of myself into achieving it. In ... and ...  I have consistently reached for becoming the very best I  can become by doing the following...

3. What is your long-range objective? Where do you  want to be 10 or 15 years from now?
Although it's certainly difficult to predict things far into  the future, I know what direction I want to develop  toward. Within five years, I would like to become the  very best _____ your company has. I would like to  become the expert that others rely upon. And in doing so,  I feel I will be fully prepared to take on any greater  responsibilities that might be presented in the long term.

4. How has your education prepared you for your career?
As you will note on my resume, I've taken not only the  required core classes in the _____ field, I've also gone  above and beyond. I've taken every class the college has  to offer in the field and also completed an independent  study project specifically in this area. But it's not just  taking the classes to gain academic knowledge I've taken  each class, both inside and outside of my major, with this  profession in mind. So when we're studying _____ in  _____, I've viewed it from the perspective of _____. In  addition, I've always tried to keep a practical view of how  the information would apply to my job. Not just theory,  but how it would actually apply. My capstone course  project in my final semester involved developing a real-world model of _____, which is very similar to what  might be used within your company...

5. What is your greatest weakness?
I would say my greatest weakness has been my lack of  proper planning in the past. I would overcommit myself  with too many variant tasks, then not be able to fully  accomplish each as I would like. However, since I've  come to recognize that weakness, I've taken steps to  correct it. For example, I now carry a planning calendar  in my pocket so that I can plan all of my appointments  and "to do" items. Here, let me show you how I have this  week planned out...

In reviewing the above responses, please remember that these are sample answers. Please don't rehearse them verbatim or adopt them as your own. They are meant to stir your creative juices and get you thinking in relation to how to properly answer the broader range of questions that you will face.

John Lloyd & Luis In My Life’ kissing scene

The “In My Life” star also takes note of a separation between his personal self and his character in the movie Noel.
“It was part of myself because I am the temple of my character. I felt two kinds of emotions. When I was Noel, yes, I really really felt it (the kiss). The scene, my character’s moment, was very much alive in my heart,” John Lloyd said in an interview .

This was something he never felt for a girl before, said John Lloyd, simply because every kiss for him is a different experience in itself.

In My Life narrates the story of Shirley Templo, played by VilMa Santos, a school librarian who decided to visit his gay son in New York after learning that her daughter would leave her for a greener pasture abroad. Real life son Luis Manzano plays Shirley’s  son, Mark. When Shirley arrived in New York, she picked from the airport by his son’s somestic partner, Noel played by John Lloyd Cruz. Shirley does not like Noel and think that the latter was just an opportunist. By the way, Noel is an illegal immigrant

The movie centers on Shirley and her relationship to her children, it  movie emphasized the value of communication between parents and children. The  character of Noel and Mark was not the highlight of the film, it was not a typical gay movie.  However it can open the minds of the parents on how they can accept there children and respect there sexuality.

I like also some of the lines deliver in the film:

“May mali ba saken? (referring to Shirley looks)” “Marami, buhok mo pang librarian, salamin mo pang guidance, damit mo pang principal, height mo pang estudyante…”

“Anak mo lang sya, di mo sa pag-aari…” Hindi lang ikaw ang my karapatang mag mahal sa kanya" “Hindi sa yo umiikot ang mundo nya at hindi ito matatapos pag wala ka na…”

The story and the overall feeling filled up for whatever was lacking. It can open the minds of the parents that has a gay siblings in the family.

The story from the start was great it was a mix of emotion, however during the part that Mark was killed  cause of "hit and run" bump with a car , the turning point of the emotions was not that great. People would say "sayang pinatay si mark" the twist was very different, you can't predict the ending of the film. Its better for you to experience the movie.

During the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, rapper Kanye West stormed on stage after Taylor Swift received the Best Female Video award. West stated "Yo Taylor, I'm really happy for you. Ima let you finish but Beyonce had one of the best videos ...of all time. One of the best videos of all time." Later in the show when Beyonce accepted the Video of the Year award, Beyonce asked Taylor Swift to come out and "have her moment." West posted a written apology on the blog the following day.

explanation of Marketing

Several people have asked for an explanation of Marketing.
Perhaps the following analogies will help clear up the meanings of terms.
You go to a party and you see an attractive female across the room.
You walk up to her and say "Hi, I'm great in bed."
This is an example of direct marketing.
You go to a party and you see an attractive female across the room. You give your mate 10 quid to approach the attractive female and comment "Hi, my friend over there (pointing to you) is great in bed."
This is an example of advertising.
You go to a party and you see an attractive female across the room. You give two of your female friends ten quid each to stand within earshot of her and talk about how great you are in bed.
This is an example of PR.
You see a handsome guy at a party. You go up to him and get
his telephone number. The next day you call and say, "Hi, I'm
fantastic in bed."
That's Telemarketing.
You go to a party and you see an attractive female across the room.
She immediately walks over and says, "Hi, I hear you're great in bed."
This is an example of branding.
You go to a party and you see an attractive female across the room. You pay a complete stranger 500 quid to go and ask her what she likes in bed, then come back and tell you.
This is an example of qualitative research
You're at a party and see a handsome guy. You get up and straighten your dress. You walk up to him and pour him a drink. You say, "May I," and reach up to straighten his tie brushing your breast lightly against his arm, and then say, "By the way, I'm fantastic in bed."
That's Public Relations.
You're at a party and see a handsome guy. You talk him into going home with your friend.
That's a Sales Rep.
Your friend can't satisfy him so she calls you.
That's Tech Support.
You're on your way to a party when you realize that there could be handsome men in all these houses you're passing. So you climb onto the roof of one situated toward the center and shout at the top of your lungs, "I'm fantastic in bed!"
That's Spam.

face your Mole

Found this article at the Asian Fanatics forum and I found it very interesting..check for the meaning of the moles on your face
Position 1 to 3
As a child, you are somewhat rebellious and a free spirit. You have an innate creativity and work best when you are given a free hand. Generally, your superiors like your avante garde approach to life. If you have a mole here, you are far better off in business and being your own boss rather than working for somebody. What is promising is that you have the luck to be your own boss.

Position 4
You are an impulsive person, often acting with a flamboyance that gives you charisma and a sparkling personality, but you can be difficult when there are too many opinions. You tend to be rather argumentative, but never to the point of holding grudges. This mole tends to give you an explosive temper and should you decide to remove it, you will find yourself becoming calmer and more at peace with the world.

Position 5
A mole above the eyebrow indicates that there is wealth luck in your life, but you will need to earn it and work harder than most people. All the income you make must be carefully kept as there are people who are jealous of you who might attempt to sweet talk you into parting with your wealth. Be wary of those who try to interest you in get-rich-quick schemes. If you have a mole here, it is advisable not to be too trusting of others. Follow your instincts and be cautious. And never allow other people to control your finances.

Position 6
A mole here indicates intelligence, creativity and skill as an artist. Your artistic talent can bring you wealth, fame and success. It also indicates wealth luck, but this can only be fully realized if you follow your heart rather than stick to conventional means of making a living. Success will come if you are brave.

Position 7
Moles under the eyebrows indicate arguments within the extended family that cause you grief and unhappiness. This will affect your work and livelihood. It is advisable to settle any differences you have with your relatives if you want peace of mind to move ahead.

Position 8
This is not a very good position for a mole. Your financial position will constantly be under strain because of a tendency to overspend. You also have a penchant for gambling. The only thing is you must know when to stop. Meanwhile, someone with a mole here has a tendency to flirt with members of the opposite sex as well as with the same sex. Better be a little discerning where you exert your charms, or you might get into trouble.

Position 9
This mole position suggests sexual and other problems. It is an unfortunate mole and you are well advised to get rid of it. It brings a litany of woes and a parade of problems.

Position 10
A mole here just under the nose indicates excellent descendants luck. You are surrounded by family at all times and will have many children and grandchildren. You have the support of those close to you and will be both materially and emotionally fulfilled.

Position 11
Moles here suggest a tendency to succumb to illness. It is a good idea to have this mole removed especially if it is a large, dark-coloured mole. Otherwise use lots of foundation to cover it.

Position 12
A mole here foretells a successful but also a very balanced life. You are likely to be not just rich, but famous as well. But although you have every opportunity to live the high life, you will have a satisfying home and family life as well. Women with moles here are particularly lucky and tend to be beautiful and glamourous as well.

Position 13
Your children will be a big worry in your life. Your relationship with them is not good. There is nothing much you can do about this except to learn some tolerance.

Position 14
A mole here suggests a vulnerability to food which can be a big problem in your life. You may have allergies against certain foods or you may simply be eating too much.

Position 15
You are a person always on the move and constantly renovating and redesigning your house. You like to be introduced to new things and see new places. You are not happy if you remain in one place for long. You enjoy travel and adventure, and have a very observant eye.

Position 16
You need to be careful when it comes to eating, and also when it comes to your sex life. These are your two biggest problems. You tend to have weight issues which can make you depressed. You enjoy romance, sometimes with more than one person, but because you are a person with some morality, you will feel guilty about it and this will cause you much stress.

Position 17
You will be someone of great social prominence. You are active on the social scene and an excellent conversationalist. There is a tendency to become bigheaded about your success, which could lose you your good name. This will affect you deeply because you draw your confidence and self worth from what others think of you.

Position 18
You are a person always on the move. There is a great deal of overseas travel in your life, but you should take extra care each time you cross the great waters, as your mole prefers you to stay at home.

Position 19
You have money luck and many good friends, so this is a good mole to have. Your weakness is that you tend to succumb to the charms of the opposite sex. In your life, it is this that could get you into hot water, so do cool your ardour!

Position 20
A mole here can be very lucky or very unlucky. If you have a mole here, you are destined either for extreme fame or infamy. You have great flair for creativity and are also highly intelligent, but your talents can be used for both good and bad. You are not a person to be trifled with for you are no pushover and do not forgive and forget easily. This mole is a mark of someone who will go down in history either as a great or as a tyrant.

Position 21
This is a good mole, as it suggests plenty to eat and drink throughout your life. This mole also brings fame and recognition.

Position 22
Your life is always happy and things go smoothly for you. You could well become a sports superstar if you have the passion for it. Moles at the end of eyebrows also suggest a person of authority and power, so if you are the CEO of a company, you will do very well.

Position 23
You have a high IQ, and you are both brain smart and street smart. You have a highly-developed survival instinct and will lead a meaningful and long life. You will be active until a very old age and will have friends and family around you till the very end.

Position 24
You will achieve fame and fortune in your young age and you are advised to use this period to safeguard your old age, as people with moles here tend to have a harderlife as they get older.

Position 25
You will enjoy good prosperity and recognition luck, but do be careful of excesses. Stay traditional in your attitudes and you will have a long and fruitful life.

BENEFITS OF DRINKING WATER ON EMPTY STOMACH

BENEFITS OF DRINKING WATER ON EMPTY STOMACH

> DRINK WATER ON EMPTY STOMACH

It is popular in Japan today to drink water immediately after waking up every morning. Furthermore, scientific tests have proven its value. We publish below a description of use of water for our readers.. For old and serious diseases as well as modern illnesses the water treatment had been found successful by a Japanese medical society as a 100% cure for the following diseases:
> Headache,
> body ache, heart system,
> arthritis, fast heart beat, epilepsy, excess fatness, bronchitis asthma, TB, meningitis, kidney and urine
> diseases, vomiting, gastritis, diarrhea, piles, diabetes, constipation, all eye
> diseases, womb, cancer and menstrual disorders,
> ear, nose and throat diseases.

> METHOD OF TREATMENT:

> 1. As you wake up in the morning before brushing teeth, drink 4 x 160ml glasses of water
> 2. Brush and clean the mouth but do not eat or drink anything for 45 minute
> 3. After 45 minutes you may eat and drink as normal.
> 4. After 15 minutes of breakfast, lunch and dinner do not eat or drink anything for 2 hours
> 5. Those who are old or sick and are unable to drink 4 glasses of water at the beginning may commence by taking little water and gradually increase it to 4 glasses per day.
> 6. The above method of treatment will cure diseases of the sick and others can enjoy a healthy life.

> The following list gives the number of days of treatment required to cure/control/ reduce main diseases:

> This treatment method has no side effects, however at the commencement of treatment you may have to urinate a few times. It is better if we continue this and make this procedure as a routine work in our life.

> Drink Water and Stay healthy and Active.

> This makes sense…The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals not cold water. Maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating!!!

> Nothing to lose, everything to gain...

> For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal.. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion.

> Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food.

> It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

> A serious note about heart attacks:

> Women should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting,
> Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.
> You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack.
> Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms.

> 60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up.

> Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know, the better chance we could survive...

> A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this mail sends it to everyone they know, you can be sure that we'll save at least one life.

> Please be a true friend and send this article to all your friends you care about

> Hope it will be of benefits to you & others.

Adam Lambert Likes to Take Pictures of Himself Making Out With Some Dude

While we didn't want to hurt his chances in the competition by scaring the fundie frauen away from him, Adam Lambert apparently has tons of photos of himself making out with some dude online that were posted on our message board. So for the idiots who somehow think this guy is not gay, Adam Lambert is gay. Total future VFTW pick because he's going to completely scare off the tween girl and bored housewife vote eventually (which really is a smart career move when you see how they ruin careers like Clay Aiken's).

Adam is an attention whore, and we love it! He's probably lurking here right now. We like his style. Click read more for more pictures.

What Sex Can Do For Your Health

10 Surprising Health Benefits of Love. Lower Blood Pressure, Fewer Colds, Better Stress Management Are Just the Beginning

“I need somebody to love,” sang the Beatles, and they got it right. Love and health are intertwined in surprising ways. Humans are wired for connection, and when we cultivate good relationships, the rewards are immense. But we’re not necessarily talking about spine-tingling romance.

“There’s no evidence that the intense, passionate stage of a new romance is beneficial to health,” says Harry Reis, PhD, co-editor of the Encyclopedia of Human Relationships. "People who fall in love say it feels wonderful and agonizing at the same time.” All those ups and downs can be a source of stress.

It takes a calmer, more stable form of love to yield clear health benefits. “There is very nice evidence that people who participate in satisfying, long-term relationships fare better on a whole variety of health measures,” Reis tells WebMD.

Most of the research in this area centers on marriage, but Reis believes many of the perks extend to other close relationships -- for example, with a partner, parent, or friend. The key is to “feel connected to other people, feel respected and valued by other people, and feel a sense of belonging,” he says. Here are 10 research-backed ways that love and health are linked:

1. Fewer Doctor’s Visits

The Health and Human Services Department reviewed a bounty of studies on marriage and health. One of the report’s most striking findings is that married people have fewer doctor’s visits and shorter average hospital stays.

“Nobody quite knows why loving relationships are good for health,” Reis says. “The best logic for this is that human beings have been crafted by evolution to live in closely knit social groups. When that is not happening, the biological systems ... get overwhelmed.”

Another theory is that people in good relationships take better care of themselves. A spouse may keep you honest in your oral hygiene. A best friend could motivate you to eat more whole grains. Over time, these good habits translate to fewer illnesses.

2. Less Depression & Substance Abuse

According to the Health and Human Services report, getting married and staying married reduces depression in both men and women. This finding is not surprising, Reis says, because social isolation is clearly linked to higher rates of depression. What’s interesting is that marriage also contributes to a decline in heavy drinking and drug abuse, especially among young adults.

3. Lower Blood Pressure

A happy marriage is good for your blood pressure. That’s the conclusion of a study in the Annals of Behavioral Medicine. Researchers found happily married people had the best blood pressure, followed by singles. Unhappily married participants fared the worst.

Reis says this study illustrates a vital aspect of the way marriage affects health. “It’s marital quality and not the fact of marriage that makes a difference,” he tells WebMD. This supports the idea that other positive relationships can have similar benefits. In fact, singles with a strong social network also did well in the blood pressure study, though not as well as happily married people.

4. Less Anxiety

When it comes to anxiety, a loving, stable relationship is superior to new romance. Researchers at the State University of New York at Stony Brook used functional MRI (fMRI) scans to look at the brains of people in love. They compared passionate new couples with strongly connected long-term couples. Both groups showed activation in a part of the brain associated with intense love.

“It’s the dopamine-reward area, the same area that responds to cocaine or winning a lot of money,” says Arthur Aron, PhD, one of the study’s authors. But there were striking differences between the two groups in other parts of the brain. In long-term relationships, “you also have activation in the areas associated with bonding ... and less activation in the area that produces anxiety.” The study was presented at the 2008 conference of the Society for Neuroscience.

5. Natural Pain Control

The fMRI study reveals another big perk for long-term couples -- more activation in the part of the brain that keeps pain under control. A CDC report complements this finding. In a study of more than 127,000 adults, married people were less likely to complain of headaches and back pain.

A small study published in Psychological Science adds to the intrigue. Researchers subjected 16 married women to the threat of an electric shock. When the women were holding their husband’s hand, they showed less response in the brain areas associated with stress. The happier the marriage, the greater the effect.

6. Better Stress Management

If love helps people cope with pain, what about other types of stress? Aron says there is evidence of a link between social support and stress management. “If you’re facing a stressor and you’ve got the support of someone who loves you, you can cope better,” he tells WebMD. If you lose your job, for example, it helps emotionally and financially if a partner is there to support you.

7. Fewer Colds

We’ve seen that loving relationships can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression -- a fact that may give the immune system a boost. Researchers at Carnegie Mellon University found that people who exhibit positive emotions are less likely to get sick after exposure to cold or flu viruses. The study, published in Psychosomatic Medicine, compared people who were happy and calm with those who appeared anxious, hostile, or depressed.

8. Faster Healing

The power of a positive relationship may make flesh wounds heal faster. Researchers at Ohio State University Medical Center gave married couples blister wounds. The wounds healed nearly twice as fast in spouses who interacted warmly compared with those who demonstrated a lot of hostility toward each other. The study was published in the Archives of General Psychiatry.

9. Longer Life

A growing body of research indicates that married people live longer. One of the largest studies examines the effect of marriage on mortality during an eight-year period in the 1990s. Using data from the National Health Interview Survey, researchers found that people who had never been married were 58% more likely to die than married people.

Aron tells WebMD marriage contributes to longer life mostly through “mutual practical support, financial benefits, and children who provide support.”

But Reis sees an emotional explanation. Marriage protects against death by warding off feelings of isolation. “Loneliness is associated with all-cause mortality -- dying for any reason,” he says. In other words, married people live longer because they feel loved and connected.

10. Happier Life

It may seem obvious that one of love’s greatest benefits is joy. But research is just beginning to reveal how strong this link can be. A study in the Journal of Family Psychology shows happiness depends more on the quality of family relationships than on the level of income. And so we have scientific evidence that, at least in some ways, the power of love trumps the power of money.
Nurture Your Relationships

To foster a loving relationship that yields concrete benefits, Aron offers four tips:

If you are depressed or anxious, get treatment.

Brush up on communication skills and learn to handle conflict.

Do things that are challenging and exciting with your loved one on a regular basis.

Celebrate each other's successes.

This last point is crucial, Aron tells WebMD. Although partners often provide support during a crisis, this support is even more beneficial during good times. As the proverb goes, Shared sorrow is half sorrow; shared joy is double joy.

88DB Cebu Acoustic Search Grand Winner- charmaine cosido

Magnified

( original composition)

( charmaine jeaneth cosido)

Here comes my time again

Fake smiles from rusty pain

As it pours down inside, in this ruin heart of mine

But was change when you’re around

No look backs from the past

It’s you that all I want

As the ray of the light shining us all the time

I am calling out your name

Hear me singing once again

CHORUS:

We’re together running into that gray horizon

Holding on painting the walls

For we’re soaring along with the rhythm of our veins

And we’re living in the colors where my love for you

Got magnified…

Thought it’s just an illusion that plays on my mind

And your sensation’s pulling me, not to reach you from that mile

But knowing I am not strong

Keep hiding but now I’m

Knocking, calling through your arms

Hear me screamin’ one more time.

( repeat chorus)

for we’re soaring along with the rhythm of our veins

and we’re living in the colors where my love for you

got magnified
